Reducing three-inch Champion blower output to feed into 1-inch diameter black pipe tuyere

Okay, I am going to use my Champion hand-cranked blower to feed air into the 1-inch inside diameter black pipe tuyere in my Tim Lively-style "washtub" charcoal forge. Is there an elegant or at least sightly solution to this, or do I have to go back to using flexible dryer hose and a whole bunch of duct tape?

You don’t have to rely on duct tape. A stepped HVAC reducer or silicone coupler with hose clamps usually works cleanly and holds up well for forge temps and airflow control.
