Do you take the time to set goals for the new year or do you prefer to let your projects lead the way?

Each year seems to kick off in its own unique way sometimes you have a clear plan, while other times, you find yourself swept up in whatever project demands your attention. As we dive into this year, are you the type to establish specific goals, or do you just go with the flow and let the work guide you?

So, I usually kick off the year with a plan, but it pretty much always goes out the window fast. I get hooked on one thing, then another, and bam, the year's off doing its own thing.

I used to sweat the whole goals thing, but I'm way better off just rolling with it. Whatever's busted, cool, or needs a fix usually jumps to the front of the line.

I like having a few goals jotted down, just to get me pointed in the right direction. Then, I just let the work and my own curiosity do the driving and see where I end up.

I have a few goals this year. I wanna upgrade my skill, aiming to master a new weld, pattern weld (damascus), or learn a specific tool (like making a complex wrench or lighter)

You know, it’s funny how we often kick things off with a solid plan, but then we find ourselves going after whatever catches our eye. Adds a bit of excitement to the year, doesn’t it?
