Hi everyone! I’m new here. My first real attempt at a project was a pair of tongs that honestly resembled a bent fork. It taught me a lot about heat control, that’s for sure! I’m thrilled to say that my more recent pairs are finally looking and working the way they’re supposed to. I can’t wait to learn from all of you!

Welcome! My first try at blacksmithing was a disaster I made this wonky hook that could barely hold a feather. But hey, it taught me to chill out and take my time. Sounds like your tongs are shaping up nicely!

I kicked things off trying to bang out a fire poker. The first one looked like a snake that had a bad day, all twisted and sad. But each time I tried, they got a bit better. Keep at it! It's awesome seeing what you're making!
