I have a 1902 Sear & Roebuck Farmers Forge for sale: $550.00. This Forge was restored by my father and I back in the 1970's. We purchased it from a neighbor of my grandfathers who kept it in a barn not far from my grandfather's farm. I forged custom knife blades, tomahawks, flint strikers, camp ware-equipment and other on it (off and on) for over 40 years. It was restored to its original state (save the shield) and it is virtually impossible to find one in this good of shape today that is 123 years old (and not rusted out). When you find these, they are typically in really poor shape (as some of you may know and typically go for around $350.00). It also sits on a custom-made steel framed handcart that we made for it so it can be moved without completely lifting up (one side lifted and rolled). I also have a 55LB anvil and some tools also available (separately). It is in very good shape for its age and has been well taken care of. I am only selling it as I can no longer physically do the work. Serious inquiries only. Cash only, no trades so please do not ask. Also, buyer must pick up and bring help as I have a bad back and knees and am unable to help. I am looking for a purchaser who will appreciate and take care of it. A forge this old that does not look its age is a rarity. I am located near Dayton, Ohio.
