Just saw that vevor has a 110# London pattern anvil. I know the hardy hole is oversized and the pritchel could be a little bigger.

Does anyone have any experience with these? Know what the rebound is like? Or is this just a little better than HF?

I am just starting out and do want good stuff, but if I can get something that is "good enough for me" then I would be ok with that.

Or should I just hold off and get something from a more reputable vendor?

Thank you!

Just got started too and took a look at that same anvil. Works fine for beginners but the hardy hole and rebound aren’t the best. If you’re serious about sticking with blacksmithing I’d recommend waiting to get a better one.

oh yeah, I agree that it's great for beginner. it also retains heat longer than others they've used and the face is hard enough for grinding and radiusing the edges.
but I think it just got an oversized hardy hole and an undersized pritchel hole

Great point, those hole sizes can really impact how usable something is.
