After jamming a random scrap into a tricky spot, I was surprised it lasted longer than expected.
What’s the most creative shop fix or repurpose you’ve pulled off that ended up outlasting its 'temporary' label?

Once used some old metal to fix a bent shelf as a temp solution. Guess what? It's still there after three years! It didn't know it was only supposed to be temporary.

Fixed a cracked toolbox handle with duct tape way back when. I thought it would be a quick fix, but it lasted through tons of jobs. Sometimes, the quick fixes work out best.

I once fixed a busted clamp with a coat hanger for a day, but it held steel for months. Some temp solutions just won't give up.
