The filters on my P95 are turning black after less than one week of respirator is turning black after less than one week full days of work. Just wanna remind you guys, why PPE is extremely important, especially when using a belt grinder
make sure to protect your lungs, just like your eyes and hands

When I first got a belt grinder, I figured a dust mask would do the trick. My lungs quickly told me I was wrong! Getting a real respirator made a huge difference.

I used to work long hours in the shop, just thinking about protecting my eyes. Then I saw how black my respirator filters were after just one week. Big wake-up call! Now I always use PPE. No exceptions.

I'm thinking about changing to n100 filters. and I'm also clean shaven now, because beards break the seal and allow particulates through
