Early day vs late night forging which do you prefer

I've always preferred the night.

I’m definitely a morning person. I enjoy starting the day fresh when my arms aren't already worn out and my mind is clear. Plus, the shop heats up enough from the forge without the afternoon sun. Evenings are for resting, not working.

I prefer the late nights. There’s something special about forging when it’s quiet and dark outside. No distractions or interruptions, just me and the metal. It’s pure zen, honestly, that’s when the best work happens.

I used to stay up late, but I switched to mornings after realizing I made silly mistakes when I was tired. Now, I start at dawn, get a few hours of solid work done before the heat kicks in, and then I’m done for the day. It’s way more productive.
