Mashed potato texture throwdown!

Every Thanksgiving, there’s always that one person in my house who yells, 'Who used the mixer?!' We had this strict rule about hand-mashing… unless Aunt Judy was in charge, of course. She’d whip them up so smooth you could practically see your reflection in them. So, which team are you on? Cast your vote!

I’m a proud member of the hand-mash crew! When I was growing up we only had the old masher and those charming lumps just seemed right.

Oh man, we had the same kind of drama! At my house it was my cousin who was fiercely guarding the potato bowl like it was a treasure. We were all about hand-mashing too unless my mom decided to swoop in she always managed to sneak the mixer in! But honestly I’m all for Team Hand-Mash
