I'm an old user now, and have only made a few knives. Tried making them out of files, trap springs and hand sheep shearing cutters. Nothing very pretty, have been a welder an repair man my whole life, I do understand the tempering of metals. Now I spend time repairing things like old butcher knives with new handles. Spend more time shooting black powder than anything else now.
