Let’s take a moment to celebrate your very first project! You know, that one special piece that got the ball rolling for you. It could be a beginner project you tackled with just a handful of tools, or maybe an older creation that still fills you with pride.

Whether it’s simple or a bit rough around the edges, it’s the project that started it all. Share your first completed project with us!

When I started out in the shop, I put together a small toolbox from pine. The corners didn't match up perfectly, but I still use it. It made me patient and made me love making things.

My first try at a project was a scrappy knife made from leftover steel. It wasn't much to look at, but it could cut wood just fine. It made me feel like I could keep going.

I made a simple stool out of wood, and it had boards left over from making a shed. The legs were a little off, but it was pretty strong. It felt awesome to keep learning.
