Imagine stepping into the shop on a chilly winter day, hammer in hand, and feeling that cold air hit you right away. Some people set up heaters to warm things up, while others depend on the forge itself to keep cozy. What’s your go-to winter setup that makes hammering a bit more bearable?

Yeah, I used to just use the forge to stay warm, but after one super cold morning, I tossed a little propane heater by my workbench. Seriously made a world of difference

So, when I first set up my shop for winter, I thought the forge would keep me warm enough. But after a few really bad mornings, I got smart and made a setup with the forge, a small heater near the anvil, and a thick rubber mat to stand on. It's not pretty, but it keeps me from turning into an ice cube.
