What do you do with that scrap steel you just can’t seem to part with?

We all have that little mountain of leftover steel lying around too valuable to toss but not quite right for any project. So, what’s your strategy for handling it? Do you sell it, recycle it, or maybe get a bit creative? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Got a stack of leftover steel lying around mainly for those moments when I think ‘I’ll deal with this later.’ Sometimes I’ll sell it off if it’s got value but more often it just sits there waiting for the right project to come along

I tend to let my leftover steel pile up too. I either use it for creative projects like custom brackets or small parts or save it for a future build. If all else fails, I can always scrap it for a little cash later.

Leftover steel? I have a bit of a stash for random projects because there’s always something I can put it to use for eventually.
If I’m feeling lazy I might sell it instead but I much prefer getting imaginative and crafting something unique.

Getting creative with scrap steel is my thing.
It’s surprising how many small tools or custom parts I can make from leftover bits.
If I really can’t find a use for it, I might toss it in recycling, but usually, I find a way to repurpose it.

I try to do a scrap project once a month where I only build stuff using the pile. it’s a great way to clear space and practice new techniques without worrying about wasting good stock

I often keep leftover bits for future projects or experiments too. It's funny how the oddest pieces can end up as the most interesting builds.
