We all have that one project that just clicked and made us feel really proud.

What’s your favorite forge project so far? Feel free to share photos, stories, or what made it so satisfying!

For me it's gotta be this little chef's knife I made for my sister. It was the first time I nailed the grind and heat treat, thing actually cut great. She still uses it every day

I also really enjoyed making a bottle opener, totally hand-forged for a friend. It wasn't big or anything but shaping the steel getting the curves just right and finishing it all by hand felt super satisfying. It's cool how even something small can feel great when you know someone's using it all the time.

I think my favorite was a fireplace poker I made last winter. It took a few nights to finish, but watching it all come together and then seeing it hold up to daily use was really rewarding.

Oh, and there was this small folding camp knife I forged last summer. That was probably the first thing I made where all the sizes looked right, the handle felt good, and the blade was just how I wanted it. Seeing it all finished and knowing I'd made something useful and good-looking felt like a real win for me.
