First project of the year

I kicked off 2026 by dusting off my old forge and trying my best not to burn myself… again. I'm curious what was the first thing you fired up or fixed this year, and did it go as planned?

Kicked off the year with my angle grinder, figured I'd whip up something fast.
Turns out, sparks flew, and I kinda panicked.
Note to self always respect the first tool of the year

Brought an old, rusty vice back to life as my first project. It took longer than I thought to get it working, but that click when it finally did? Totally worth the effort.
