This one is the Emmerson 200lb traditional anvil and the price is around 2000 bucks.

That's gonna be quite expensive. I think these days, new anvils are much cheaper than ancient ones because in that you're paying for the "historical value" or something. Not the face value. Maybe consider a new one. I saw one at like 600 dollars.

I hate to say this but I bought my first anvil (140 pounds sheffield) inn 1970. The guy I bought it from asked me how old I was and I told him I was 15 yrs. He then said that if I could lift it into the car, I could have it for $15. I picked it up annd put it into the car. My daughter now has it in her living room and I have owned mabey 20 anvils since then. I have kept one.
